The spaces are designed in a dynamic way: the classrooms, with ample natural light, are large open plan spaces with specific use areas created: the environment is not designed with rigidly defined spaces but each child can enjoy and fully experience all the space available, alternating moments of spontaneous moments of play and exploration to structured moments under the guidance of the educator. They are equipped with French doors with direct access to the garden. The formation of each class is done by age, so each educational project and proposed activities apply to the needs and personal growth of individual child. Within each section we work in small groups, designed to diversify the educational proposal according to the skills and ability of each child.
Our educational method is based on the most recognized pedagogies, taking inspiration from Maria Montessori, Loris Malaguzzi and Bruno Munari and enhancing the centrality of the child, in a direct experience and stimulation of the “Hundred Languages” (cit. L. Malaguzzi Reggio Children Approach) that children possess. Our educators create different “learning environments,” understood as spaces of action specifically designed and structured to stimulate the child’s active and spontaneous construction of knowledge, motivation, and growth, in constant interaction with others.
All activities are carried out in the dual language Italian-English. Our English teachers, who are strictly native speakers or perfectly bilingual, do not teach English but “Speak English”: they are trained to offer children language awareness programs in everyday life, in the “doing” workshops as well as in routine activities, exposing children to the sounds of the English language just as they learn their mother tongue.
The pedagogical coordinator, together with the teachers, plans the first detachment from the family environment and from the main reference figures. The settling-in process does not follow predefined patterns: our experience suggests that, in order to guarantee a serene settling-in of the child in the nursery, the time spent in class by one of the parents must be evaluated on the basis of the child’s response to the new environment and will, therefore, be modulated from time to time by the teachers.
The activities that the educators carry out with the children are based on an annual program and on a periodic remodeling dictated by the observation of the children.
The laboratory spaces are:

In addition to including musical moments that
teachers and educators offer
daily to children, you can choose to participate in the
extracurricular music course
held weekly by a specialized teacher.
The course is presented every
year in the first meetings and includes moments
of school-family meetings during the year.
